Basically there are three main routes for sea excursions from San Teodoro:  trips from the Tavolara-Punta Coda Cavallo Protected Marine Area, boat trips in the Gulf of Orosei, and trips in the Archipelago of La Maddalena.  From San Teodoro it's easy to reach the ports of departure ... a few minute's drive separates the center from an intense and exciting experience. 

The Tavolara - Punta Coda Cavallo Protected Marine Area is a nature reserve of immense environmental value: Take a visit to the Pools of Molara or Tavolara Island where there is the famous cave of the Pope, once a refuge of monk seals, or simply wander along the fringed coves of our coastline. Departures are scheduled from the beaches of San Teodoro (La Cinta and Cala d'Ambra), or, for scuba diving centers, from Porto San Paolo.  Small sailboats and short trips are available from Porto Ottiolu
